By accessing and using shieldie.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

shieldie.ai is a free lookup of IP addresses that servers in the shieldie network have reported for attacks. For an address it shows what shieldie.cloud knows: whether the address is on the shared blocklist and why, how many independent servers and networks reported it, which kinds of attack were seen, and short incident summaries (attack type, severity, an AI verdict and a redacted summary, counts, times, and the country of the reporting server). It also lists the most active and the most recently added addresses.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Service to:

• Look up addresses that contact your systems, for defence and security research

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to overwhelm the Service with excessive automated requests or bulk-download its data
• Present a listing as proof that a person did something: an address can be shared, reassigned or spoofed

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• Lookup results are accurate, complete or current: they reflect reports from participating servers
• An address that is not listed is safe, or that a listed address is still malicious
• AI verdicts and summaries are free from errors
• The Service will be available at all times without interruption

Results are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for your own judgement or a professional security audit.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, shieldie.ai and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages resulting from reliance on lookup or scan results.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, code, and AI models are the intellectual property of shieldie.ai. Results generated for your queries are provided for your use, but the underlying technology and data collection remain our property.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle data.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
